Sports halls, swimming pools and other sports areas present an extra challenge. The acoustic solutions must not only be efficient in terms of acoustics, but they must also be adapted to the sporting use of the spaces. For example, they must be able to withstand impact, be robust and resistant to moisture (in swimming pools) or balls.
In addition, large sports halls have the additional effect of flutter echoes due to their high ceilings and large volumes, which means that we have to deviate from our classic approach.
